As We Gather
The parable of the prodigal son is really the parable of the waiting father.  Despite being rejected by his son, and his son’s reckless squandering of the inheritance, the father patiently waits for his son’s return that he might heap grace upon him again.  Such is our Father’s love for us.  No matter how far we wander, how far we fall, or how seriously we have strayed, our Father lovingly, patiently waits for us, eager to show His grace upon us anew.

Pastor Mike’s Bible Class
The Early Church and the Nicene Creed

In this multi-week study, Pastor Mike will be looking at the first four centuries of the Christian Church, leading up to the writing of the Nicene Creed. This Sunday: The Apostolic Church (AD 30-100). What was going on and what does it mean for us today?

Lent Midweek Service April 2

My Shepherd – He Anoints Me

Our Lent midweek series on Psalm 23 continues next Wednesday as we focus on Psalm 23:5.  “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows” (Psalm 23:5).  When it seems as though the enemy is gaining the upper hand, and our path is hindered and obstructed, our Shepherd is still with us, blessing us even though we are surrounded by trouble.  He anoints us with His blessing for every trial. The service is at 7:00 PM, preceded by a soup supper in the parish hall at 6:00 PM

                                                                       Hearing Loop in the Sanctuary

We are pleased to announce that the hearing loop system is fully integrated now with the new sound system.  For those who have t-coil technology in their hearing aids, the system will connect directly to your hearing aids. For all others who desire hearing assistance in worship, please stop by the sound tech before the service for a transmitter and headphones.

Worship Preparation Team

Our worship prep teams prepare the sanctuary for worship each Sunday.  One of the main ways they serve is preparing the elements for Communion.  But their service also includes making sure the candles have oil, paraments and banners reflect the season, and more.  We are looking for people willing to serve in this way.  This is a great way for families to serve together!  If you have questions, please contact Pastor Mike.

Every week is an opportunity to invite someone to join with us in worship, whether in person or online. The first step, though, is to pray for those whom you may invite.  Who can you pray for?  Who will you invite?
