As We Gather
The Gospel is the good news of God’s free grace and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, the announcement that Jesus Christ, by His life, death, and resurrection has completely secured our forgiveness and salvation. But where did this message come from? In our passage from Galatians today, Paul is defending himself against the charge that he just made it up. Instead he proclaims that the gospel is of no human invention but rather comes from God himself. We make the same claim today as we seek to share this good news with all.
