“Give Thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever” (Psalm 136:1). We gather today in thankfulness, to praise our gracious God for His gifts. Because His love endures forever, we praise and thank Him, even when the circumstances of our lives are filled with difficulty, stress and suffering. Our thankfulness rests in the eternal goodness of our God, and the certainty of His promises.
