It’s possible to walk with Jesus and not recognize Him. To hear His Word, know the answers, and yet miss His presence. Like the disciples on the road, we can move through faith on autopilot—seeing, but not truly seeing. Yet the risen Lord comes to us still. Through His Word and Sacrament, and by His Spirit, He opens our eyes to behold Him, awakening our hearts to a life of faith and worship.
